Diane is committed to cultivating a vibrant innovation landscape, where education, mentoring, and funding empower students, businesses, and entrepreneurs to solve social and environmental challenges. Previously, as Director at UNCW Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, she spearheaded initiatives to bolster the regional business acceleration and championed innovations in health, education, and marine and environmental sciences.

Miche’s background in economic development and organizational design and development has built a deep understanding of how businesses achieve stability and sustainability. Drawing from over 35 years of both formal and informal study spanning anthropology, psychology, philosophy, biology, and linguistics, she weaves together a tapestry of multidisciplinary insights.

Angie McArthur is the Superintendent of the Eastern Upper Peninsula Intermediate School District. She has been in this position since January 2020. Prior to coming to the EUPISD, Angie served as the Superintendent/K12 Principal of Engadine Consolidated Schools for ten years. She worked in school finance for sixteen years prior to the superintendency. In 2016, Angie completed an Educational Specialist degree from University of Michigan-Flint.

Jeff is the CEO of the Eastern UP Regional Planning and Development Commission, a position he has held since 2007.  He leads up the regions EDA Economic Development District planning program and has been successful in securing millions of dollars in project funding for economic development projects through the EDA during his tenure at EUP.
