Business Spotlight | Seder’s Pizza - Newberry Fabulousness!

What this SBSH grant funding truly represents is an opportunity for a more sustainable business.

If you've been craving a slice of something special, Seder's Pizza in Newberry is delivering just that, and then some.

After a strong first year, the team at Seder's made a move that's turning things up in a big way. Out went the wood-fired brick oven that could only handle about 7 pies at a time, and in came a 1991 conveyor belt oven sourced from a Kalamazoo restaurant equipment shop. Using the original recipe crust and chef Joe’s magic, this workhorse can cook 10 pizzas at a time, faster than the crew can even make them. Talk about a problem worth having.

Word spread quickly that Seder's was doing things well, and the nostalgia crowd showed up hungry. With 7 employees and 2 new summer hires joining the team, they're ready for the rush.

And if pizza isn't enough to get you in the door, Seder's just added wings to the menu with 11 sauces to choose from. I’ll be trying them all!

Joe credits his community for pushing him toward quality, and he's paying it forward by encouraging his team to grow every single day. His motto? Be better than you were yesterday, no matter what.

Newberry, your pizza spot is ready. Are you?
