Business Spotlight | Murphy’s Dumpsters with a Force… multiplier
What this SBSH grant funding truly represents is an opportunity for a more sustainable business.
Murphy’s Dumpsters is a homegrown Eastern UP gem that makes a big impact. They’re your go-to for reliable dumpster rentals (10- and 20-yard containers) with a fantastic addition, thanks to the SBSH 2nd round grant. A skid steer has been added to the line up giving customers a leg up in getting all the stuff into a dumpster and Murphy’s an opportunity to rent dumpsters to others. Oh but wait! That’s not all, the skid steer can clear trails for walking or spreading gravel. Now I want one. :)
The forestry mulcher on the skid steer lets Murphy’s offer forestry lanes and even shooting lanes, making it a true one-stop shop instead of a juggling act with multiple contractors. Offering up the skid steer for rental also creates a steady revenue stream when dumpster customers don’t need help mover refuse. The skid steer was a used piece of equipment so Shawn O’Dwyer leveraged the grant money for sure.
The result of this grant was not just a force multiplier? It’s helped to build strong local contractor connections, but smoother projects and a service that grows with the community.
Murphy’s Dumpsters is a force multiplier itself, saving you time and hard work on every job. If you’re curious how this Eastern UP standout can help your next project, book at murphysdumpsters.com or call 906-603-8075.
